Radiesse Faq's

A:

Radiesse® (formerly known as Radiance®), is a FDA approved, biocompatible and non-allergenic dermal and wrinkle filler. Radiesse contains calcium-based microspheres that once injected, start the process known as collagenesis. This in turn helps to build up your collage and provide your face greater structure, volume, and elasticity. Advantages of Radiesse include long lasting correction of facial wrinkles compared to hyaluronic acid based products, such as Juvederm and Restylane.

Dr. Hoefflin performs Radiesse injections to smooth out facial wrinkles in the nasolabial folds (area between the nose and cheek), marionette lines (area beneath the corner of your mouth), and the pre-jowl area (either side of your chin). In addition, Dr. Hoefflin performs volumetric sculpting by augmenting your cheek and undereye areas to a more youthful and well-rested appearance. Patients report a very high satisfaction rate after their Radiesse treatments.

Dr. Hoefflin performs Radiesse treatments directly in our offices. All patients receive complimentary anesthetic numbing cream and post-injection ice compresses. Typical treatments take 15-25 minutes. There is minimal downtime and recovery. Immediate results and volume correction can be observed.

Typical reactions after your Los Angeles Radiesse treatments include mild redness or swelling, which usually subsides after several hours to days. We recommend you avoid sun exposure until any redness or swelling subsides.

Our professional offices charges $695 per syringe for Radiesse.

An introductory price of $595 per syringe is offered for new patients.

However, some local common-injection related reactions may occur, such as swelling, pain, itching, and tenderness at the injection site.
